Development of organobentonite and biopolymer–bentonite composite adsorbents for removal of cationic dyes from aqueous solutions — kinetics, isotherm and thermodynamic studies.
Design and characterization of pillared-clay adsorbents (Sn-, Al-pillared bentonite) for the removal of cationic dyes from wastewater.
Synthesis and applications of functional zeolitic materials for catalysis and gas storage.

N-Heterocyclic Carbene–Silver(I) Complexes for Medicinal Applications
Lead author on two recent papers: NHC–Ag(I) complexes review (Curr. Bioact. Comp., 2026) and transition-metal nanoparticle/graphene composites (J. Electron. Mater., 2025).

Co-authored the highly-cited Polymer (Elsevier) paper on ultrahigh-performance bio-polyimides from 4,4′-diaminostilbene.
